VITA-D-LIP
FOOD SUPPLEMENT

VITA-D-LIP is a liposomal vitamin D in the patented LIPOSHELL® technology.

  • increased bioavailability
  • targeted transport
  • easier absorption

VITA-D-LIP is characterized by high content of vitamin D in the liposome.

The use of the LIPOSHELL® technology allows to achieve very high efficiency in the transport of vitamin D to the body. LIPOSHELL® liposomes are tiny carriers similar to cell membranes in the human body, which makes them non-toxic and biocompatible.

What are the advantages of VITA-D-LIP over the traditional form of vitamin D?

  • There is no need to use any additional solvents (e.g. oil) in liposomal vitamin D.
  • Vitamin D contained in the double lipid layer of the liposomes forms a stable dispersion in water.
  • The liposomes form a protective barrier, securing the nutrient against harmful effects of free radicals and degradation factors in the gastrointestinal tract.1
  • As the structure of LIPOSHELL® liposomes membrane shows high similarity to the structure of living organisms cell membrane, they are completely biodegradable and biologically inert.1
  • The unique LIPOSHELL® technology guarantees that the liposomal form of vitamin D does not contain alcohol.
  • The size of the liposomes in the VITA-D-LIP preparation is optimized for optimal absorption.2-5
  • The liposomes enable the controlled release and effective delivery of the nutrient to the target site – inside the cell.6

When is it worth using VITA-D-LIP?

Vitamin D contained in VITA-D-LIP 1000 IU may be used e.g.:

  • In children over 1 year of age, adolescents and adults to supplement their diet with vitamin D.
  • In people with low exposure to sunlight.
  • In the autumn and winter period, because of the small amount of sunshine.
  • In summer, due to the widespread use of cosmetics with UV filters, which reduce the ability to synthesise vitamin D in the skin.7
  • By people with dark skin, in whom skin synthesis of vitamin D is difficult due to the high content of melanin in the skin (a pigment that acts as a natural sunscreen).

Vitamin D contained in VITA-D-LIP 2000 IU may be used e.g.:

  • By adults with an increased demand for vitamin D.
  • In case of insufficient exposure to the sun, including in persons who permanently stay or work indoors.
  • In the autumn-winter period or in low sunshine months.
  • By people who use cosmetics with UV filters improperly.
  • By people with dark skin, due to the high content of melanin in the skin, which absorbs UV radiation, reducing the efficacy of vitamin D synthesis in the skin.
